Lake McKenzie
We spent a while at a picnic table trying to get Tiz's pack adjusted properly. It wasn't putting enough weight on her hips instead of her shoulders. Eventually we decided to start walking and see how it went. Well ashamed as I am to admit it we ended up cheating. As we walked towards the track a tour bus operator asked us where we were going and when we told him he offered us a lift. So we actually only walked the 1 kilometre from where he dropped us near the lake that day! We had both been recovering from the flu the previous week and still weren't 100% so we were happy just to get to Lake McKenzie!
