Australia's Bicentennial National Trail
The Bicentennial National Trail stretches from Cooktown in tropical North Queensland, to Healesville in Victoria. It is 5,330 kilometres long. It is suitable for horse riders, walkers and mountain bike riders. The trail follows historic coach and stock routes, old pack horse trails, and country roads. It links 18 National Parks with some of the most spectacular scenery in Australia. It passes through tropical rainforests, mountains, valleys, gorges, dry plains, alpine meadows, snowfields and wilderness.
Australian Alps Walking Track
The Australian Alps Walking Track is a 650 kilometre track that winds through the high country of Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. It passes through some of Australia's finest mountain national parks. The track climbs high mountains and crosses exposed remote alpine country.
